Nyla Verea Wampler, 65, passed away on April 9, 2017 at Norman Regional Hospital. Nyla was born on August 18, 1951 to Edward and Mary Babb in Norman, Oklahoma. She was a life-time resident of Norman and graduated from Norman High School, class of 1969. During her life, Nyla had a career as a registered nurse and spent 30+ years working for Norman Regional Hospital. When away from work, Nyla loved spending time on her hobbies, which included gardening, fishing, and cooking. She always looked forward to vacations at South Padre Island. She is preceded in death by both parents and her brother, Tony Babb. She is survived by daughter, Mary Pavia, son-in-law, Chris Pavia and grandson Wyatt. She is also survived by step-daughers, Beth Mitchell and her daughter, Tia, as well as Charm Fakhrshafaei, her husband Reza, and their children Kamron and Kyle; step-son, Sam Wampler and wife, Lori, and their children Gage and Caleb Wampler. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Pearl. Services Pending.
